Our fish remain in good health and appear to be growing from a rough visual analysis. We may attribute their general good health to the low nitrite levels in the water, as nitrite can be toxic to fish even in small concentrations. Since March 1, nitrite levels in the tank have not surpassed 10 parts per million, while our nitrate levels have gotten as high as 160 parts per million.
